She immediately went to work for John Rogers/Murrel Lacey, on the old Rogers Ranch in Danville, developing a love for *Karadjordje+++ and *Serafix bloodlines.

Andy Bailey

Andy Bailey riding Ribbons of Steele over Cougar RockAndy Bailey married Patti in 1971, having mistakenly told her he was a horse person. He got a lot of bumps and bruises while "learning the horse business through osmosis," by living with Patti. He turned the tables after twenty five years, by winning his Tevis buckle first. Here he is on only his second endurance ride doing Cougar Rock on Ribbons of Steele. Pretty good for learning through osmosis, huh?

Dean & Sheri Lacey

The Lacey's, lucky enough to have inherited the John Rogers/Murrel Lacey legacy, live eight miles from the ranch and do the basic breaking and show ring training for Phase II.
